Description

With their powerful properties, essential oils have been used in alternative medicine for thousands of years. Whether used for therapeutic massage or aromatherapy, it’s important that you incorporate these potent materials carefully into your practice. Learning to take precautionary safety measures in the application of essential oils is crucial as questions of ethics arise from their use.  Master your knowledge to safely provide clients with aromas that will lead them down a path to healing.

Essential oils are potent therapies that require the use of safety and caution.  Students will learn precautionary measures in the application of essential oils. This class will be divided into two parts: the first part will focus on safety issues in the use of aromatherapy and the second will focus on the ethical issues surrounding the use of essential oils in healthcare.
