FAQ
General
- For recorded classes, there are no refunds.
- For live webinars, you may cancel your registration up to one (1) business day before the live event. A $25 administrative fee will be deducted from your refund.
- For a multi-class live Webinar series, there are no refunds. However, if you miss a live webinar in a series, you can be enrolled in the recorded version at no charge if it becomes available at a later date.
- For onsite classes:
- Cancellation 7 or more days prior to the Class date: A $25 cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund.
- Cancellation less than 7 days prior to the Class date: 100% of the registration fee will be charged. There are no refunds during the week prior to the class.
- If you are unable to attend a live webinar due to power outage, extreme weather, or natural disaster, you will receive a full refund. Refunds for live webinars associated with Pacific Symposium will be processed within one week after the conference ends.
To request a refund, please place a support ticket. Refunds normally take up to 2 business days to process.
If you miss a live webinar, we may be able to offer you a recorded version of the class at some future date. However, not all classes that are live and have recordings become distance learning courses so CEU/PDAs may not be possible if you miss the live webinar. Please be aware that distance learning courses require the completion of a practice quiz and a final assessment to receive credit. Please place a support ticket if you miss the live lecture and allow up to two business days for a response.
Live webinars count as participating in a Live class, as you will have real time access to the instructor for questions and comments. Please check with your local/state licensing agency for other rules and regulations.
Most live webinars are recorded and made available to attendees for at least 6 months after the event. However, not all presenters allow this. So, if and when the recording is posted, everybody who signed up for the class will receive a notification to their registered email account.
We create on-demand versions of many of our live webinar events. However, there are variety of factors that affect if and when that actually happens.
People can sign up for live streaming sessions right up to the event start time.
You can edit your license number by going to your My Account page.

Pacific Center is an NCCAOM-authorized provider of continuing education for acupuncturists. All NCCAOM-approved course are acceptable for continuing education for TX licensed acupuncturists. If a course is approved by NCCAOM as a professional development activity (or PDA as they refer to them on their website), whether they are part of the NCCAOM core competency or professional enhancement, that the course is acceptable for the CE required to maintain the TX license.
For up-to-date information on license renewal in Texas, please visit the Texas Acupuncture Board website
The first question on the required course survey asks you to verify your attendance for the entire webinar. We treat this as a sworn statement on your part and give you attendance credit based solely on it.
Our systems also keep detailed logs of the activity of attendees during the meeting time. Such records may be made available to outside agencies during an audit. When you enter the live webinar meeting room, the system creates a record of your name and the start time. Every time you leave the room, the system updates the record to reflect that you left. When you re-enter the room, a new record will be created. When the event is over, all records in your name are added up by the system to reflect your total time of attendance.
Please be aware that if your computer crashes or goes to sleep, you will be logged out until you re-enter the room.
If a debit card or check card is used to make a payment, and the purchase was not accepted for any reason (failed expiration date, zip code, or CCV verification), please be aware that most banks will hold the “authorized” funds (counting against your balance until the authorization clears) even if your order was rejected by our security measures. Such authorizations are merely “pending” charges, and funds will not be transferred because the charge attempt failed our security measures.
In most cases, you don’t need to do anything, but monitor your funds and watch the pending charges drop off of your statement within a few business days.
If you are unsure, you can call your credit card issuer in order to determine their policy for releasing these pending authorizations.
On-Demand Courses are renewed on an annual basis. They are currently set up to adhere to current NCCAOM rules, which require completion data to be uploaded to their PDA portal rather than downloaded from our website. Because of this, there is no longer a downloadable NCCAOM certificate available for years prior to 2019. If you need a certificate from 2019 or earlier, please send an email to lifelonglearning@pacificcollege.edu.
