The purpose of this course is to provide practitioners with an understanding what is an integrative approach for a stroke patient in addition to knowing how to maximize the effect of scalp acupuncture for a stroke patients.

Course Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand how to combine YNSA, physical therapy and guided imagery
  • Understand how new neuronal connections can be made in brain tissue which has been damaged due to a cerebrovascular accident (CVA).
  • Understand how to maximize the effects of YNSA for a stroke patient.
