Planetary Herbology synthesizes Western, Eastern, and Ayurvedic herbal traditions into an integrated whole, allowing you to use local ingredients no matter where you live. Set out on your path to gaining and maintaining health through natural, holistic means with best-selling author Michael Tierra, an internationally recognized authority on the world’s herbal traditions.

Have you ever wondered why most healing systems consider good digestion to be central to health and wellbeing? Find out when bitters, stomachics, and digestive herbs ranging from chamomile, to cascara and castor oil are appropriate for treating gastrointestinal disorders, and which more uncommon Chinese herbs they can replace without any loss in functionality.

Using Western herbs and formulas applied according to TCM theory, learn how to enhance the treatment of conditions ranging from constipation or IBS to hepatitis and hemorrhoids.

This course is the second in a 6-part series. If you purchase courses individually before signing up for the whole series, you will be given credit toward the purchase of the series. You can sign up for the complete series here.
