Description

This seminar will present the general principles of gynecology in Chinese medicine including the physiology, etiology, pathology and diagnosis of womens problems.  Giovanni has a special interest in gynecology and has long experience of treating gynecological problems with both acupuncture and herbs.  Giovanni has many new insights on the physiology and pathology of the four phases of the menstrual cycle.  An understanding of the four phases of the menstrual cycle is essential to treat many complicated gynecological conditions such as endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome. Several new ideas will be presented, based on the lecturers experience, in particular the interpretation of Hot and Cold patterns in women.
