Lillian Bridges Memorial
Lillian Pearl Bridges was a true and vibrant friend and colleague of Pacific College of Health and Science, Pacific Symposium, and the larger holistic health community worldwide. She was recognized as the foremost expert in the Western world on facial diagnosis. Her generous spirit and teachings were a gift to generations of acupuncturists and other healthcare practitioners.
To honor Lillian’s memory, Pacific College is releasing a recording of FACING UP TO STRESS, a not yet released class that Lillian co-taught as a live webinar with Shellie Goldstein. We are offering this class (free) throughout the month of October for you to have the opportunity to experience Lillian for yourself, or to listen to her and enjoy, one more time. Lillian’s part of the talk starts at 35 minutes in.
Lillian, author of the popular Face Reading in Chinese Medicine and co-author with her son, Stephen Lesefko, of Divine Chinese Cuisine: 100 Recipes, was an internationally recognized and acclaimed speaker and teacher. She was considered the Western world’s leading authority on face reading and diagnosis, credited with bringing this body of ancient knowledge back to the field of Chinese medicine. Lillian founded The Lotus Institute, Inc., training students in her comprehensive Master Face Reading Certification Program. Her warmth, humor, and insight captivated her audiences and made her one of the top Chinese medicine lecturers in the world. Lillian was featured in many publications and on radio and television shows, including the Dr. Oz show, and contributed to many national and international magazines and journals. She spent decades researching ancient texts and correlating them to Western studies in psychology, medicine, and modern Chinese medicine practice, in addition to learning from a long line of master Chinese practitioners in her Chen-family lineage.
