Further your expertise in herbal prescribing by learning to write precise, gentle, and concise prescriptions for conditions caused by specific pathologies. Invite flexibility and freedom into your practice as you acquire the skills to modify classical formulas geared toward the modern patient.

Precision in Herbal Formulation: The Qin Bowei Method includes an introduction to the methodology course followed by a series of 9 additional courses organized by different pathologies. It is a comprehensive presentation of the highly effective herbal prescribing system of Qin Bowei.

Qin Bowei’s system pre-dates most of Mao Ze-Dong’s influence and differs in a number of ways from the current TCM model yet can easily be integrated into modern clinical use. This system is ideal for those wishing to diagnose clearly, write custom formulas (as opposed to stock formulas or patents), improve precision in herbal prescribing by writing smaller more accurate formulas, or who simply want to break out of a basic TCM pattern structure.

After completing the entire course series, you will have the ability to boost your practice and expertise through the Qin Bowei method. In taking the series, you will adopt a laser-like focus on the root of the disease pattern and avoid a symptomized, scattered approach to your herbal formulation. In learning the Qin Bowei system, you will have the power to emulate the thinking behind classical prescriptions without being tied down to the exact ingredients or original indications.

Each course is CAB and NCCAOM approved for CEU/PDAs. Each class is also sold individually. If you purchase one or more courses individually before signing up for the whole series, you will be given credit toward the purchase of the series. The series is designed to allow you take the classes in any order. The 2-hour introduction to the Qin Bowei method is included for review in each of the classes.
