Course Description

Dr. Lia Andrews uses her knowledge of the classics, wisdom from her mentors, and clinical experience to present a practical system of healthy living for women. This series selects key practices to optimize women’s health and beauty through preserving jing at each stage of a woman’s life, Chinese cosmetology, and Daoist sexual cultivation. If you would like to offer the women you treat more than temporary relief from the symptoms of infertility, menstruation or menopause, or geriatrics, Dr. Andrews can help!

Daoist Sexuality for Women: Empowerment and Cultivation

In this final class in a six-part series on nurturing life for women, learn about sexual cultivation from a woman’s perspective. This course seeks to dispel the myths used in gender warfare and present an empowering model of sexuality for women that has the potential to change our relationships and our planet. Dr. Andrews will also address the history of women in Daoism and the misogynistic undertones of many Daoist sexual practices. In addition, learn how to guide patients through basic meditation and qi gong techniques.
