Course Description
Evaluate clients for the use of specialized techniques for weight management. Communicate with weight management clients and set goals and maintenance plans. Strategize using ancient and modern concepts and tools. Depending on diagnosis, enhance qi and blood damaged by medications and address local fat deposits. Students will practice specialized tuiNa, GuaSha, Cupping, and needling techniques. Only NY licensed acupuncturists and Pacific students at the Associate Intern level or beyond may practice needle techniques during this class. Others may participate in the class, but may not provide hands-on needle techniques in class. Enrollment is limited.
