The face is the best place on the body to recognize the shen in a patient. Shen is best seen as the light behind the eyes and under the skin, radiating outward when healthy and flourishing. Blockages to the shen affect the quality of light emitted, which can be diagnosed and treated. In this workshop, you will be shown the various manifestations of shen, from signs of health to deficiency and disturbances. Bridges will teach you how to perceive brain function, evaluate emotional fluctuations, and recognize psychological and psychiatric conditions.
